Carifil Antifreeze ELC concentrate, G12/G12+ type – 209L
Concentrate
All year round extended life G12/G12+ type antifreeze with the addition of inhibitors in the form of organic acid salts, based on mono ethylene glycol (MEG). Suitable for use in cooling systems of all types of liquid-cooled combustion engines. Especially recommended for aluminum radiators.
Protects against freezing, overheating, corrosion and deposit formation. Free of nitrites, amines and phosphates. Safe for rubber, plastics and seals.
Meets the requirements of the following standards: ASTM D3306, ASTM D4985, BS 6580, NFR 15- 601, SAE J1034, PN-C40007.
Mixable with other antifreezes based on mono ethylene glycol (MEG), however, it is advisable to follow the car manufacturer’s recommendations. In the long run, in order to maintain the maximum corrosion protection, it is recommended to replace the fluid with a homogeneous one.
Recommended replacement after approx. 250,000 km or approx. 5 years of use.
Instructions for use
Concentrated product – requires dilution. Note: The fluid provides corrosion protection at all dilution ratios given – further thinning may reduce this protection.
